Well, if I hadn’t wandered around a bit at Daniel Green’s Reading Experience this morning I might never have realized that first, he has a great short story published there that has been included in the Third Anniversary Issue of Bewildering Stories and second, that my own poem published in issue no. 87 had been included in the Second Anniversary Issue.
Bewildering Stories is an online magazine that always includes some excellent fiction, essays, reviews and poetry. They are also real nice folks and this has spurred me on to submit a couple of poems to them that were just too personal when I wrote them (and if I can read them now without choking up I suppose they’re ready to offer to share). One of my short stories is more geared towards the type of thing they publish and if I can polish it a bit, I may send that out for submission as well.
Then sit and cross my fingers and tell myself I did the best I could.
