Goodness, Del went to school with me today–couldn’t hardly resist showing him off. Was a bit embarrassed by the protective plastic coating still on the cover, but my mom would have been proud (remember the plastic covers on lampshades?). Then we went shopping for a winter jacket for him at Staples, and bought him a ream of paper he can eat if he wants to hook up to the printer.
I do have some more serious entries planned for when my head settles down, but had this thought as well on the drive home this morning and figured I’d better confess: Don’t people realize how tempting those 10-foot tall blown up Santas, Snowmen, Puppies with stocking caps, and even the Simpsons on the front lawn are to a traditional archer?
Other than that, I was happy to get a 97 on my Stats project and a 110 (extra credit problems) on Monday’s test.
I’m going to play with Del for a little bit, then maybe I’ll do a little stats and be in an eloquent frame of mind for a couple of more serious entries.
Oh, and this, from a dear friend that knows me well:
"Susan got her Dell
Susan got her Dell,
Hi Ho Daddario,
All else will go to hell!"
The Lost Children: A Charity Anthology
Your stats rock, Susan! And Del ain’t half bad, either. Hope Del returns all the love. Sounds like a good day (smile).
