WRITING: GENRE

We all know what we are best at writing, but it does not always seem to match what we choose as readers. My favorite reading is probably murder mysteries, preferably true or based upon real life crimes. I have attempted to write in this genre, but am simply no good at it. In so saying, I’ll share with you one of my best ideas for the perfect murder, since this idea will never be published nor committed by me.

The Harried Housewife’s High Cholesterol Diet Plan for Murder. A woman who has become quite fed up with her husband’s lack of attention and respect for her value as a homemaker, manages to both maintain her position despite his several affairs and accomplish her goal—cashing in on his life insurance policy by keeping his meals on an egg-a-day plan along with plenty of rare beef and pure wholesome butter.
