REALITY: Mountains

An e-mail conversation with a friend has me thinking about mountains and what they can offer to man.  They can be a barrier to halt or go around, or a goal or a dream one can climb to touch sky, or a fine place to perch and just look around.

It’s all in the mind what the eyes can only see as the same; it’s all in perception that happens inside and the drawersful of crayons that color the view and who reaches for purple when others see gray.  But the saddest of all, I would think and believe, are those who don’t lift up their heads to the peaks and wonder about mountains at all.
