REALITY: Snow

Snow smells like fresh nothing.  It feels wet, and cold and soft, and tastes like cool clean spring water.  It sounds like swooshes and soft plops on cement, and lands without sound on the bush tops.  It looks like white raindrops when first it starts falling, then confetti at weddings, then pillowfight feathers as it gathers and grows.

And still, snow smells like fresh nothing at all.
