EDUCATION: Grades

One of the reasons, or rather just something that adds credence to my belief in a merry go round of lives is that I can’t see how I could have become so anal about striving for perfect scores in just one lifetime.

I look at this semester’s finals and am pleased, of course; I’ve worked hard at what sometimes doesn’t come easy.  But it only makes the one Algebra grade stand out so much more in the twenty-four credit courses I’ve taken, and the thought wanders in about retaking the class.  I had an A average throughout the semester in the course, then blew the final exam.

Or maybe I could just screw up the last class this summer so that Algebra won’t bother me so much.

you’re asking the wrong person if you look in my direction … I’m the one that took Algebra a second time because I couldn’t tolerate a B, then took it a third time because a 3.8 (A)wasn’t as good as 4.0

I wanted to MASTER it completely

still, even after achieving a 3.9 (A), I think it still mastered me, in the end. If I had any advice to share at all, it would be to let it go

be happy to cross it off your list, and let your attention be put to better use … keep feeding that which moves you forward, rather than that which wants to hold you back

    let
    it
    go
