WRITING: Claptrap

Good morning.  The word for the day is crap.  (I just didn’t want to put it right up there in the title!)

So here I am, all fired up and ready to go, got five great titles for stories:  Eggs for Breakfast, I Would Have Told You, If Only, Or Maybe This, and Gazpacho, and about a page or so on at least two of them, a paragraph or more on the others.  But I think I must dump at least three of them and start anew.  I’m capable of better than what came out of me a month ago.  Reading good stuff, reading bad, discovering new media methods to incorporate into your plain basic book form of text; all have given me ideas.

And here I sit.  Without the ominous power of a syllabus deadline, I’m useless.  Crap.
