LITERATURE: A Different Reading

I’m plowing through Ploughshares, but it’s just not the same.  It’s strange to read without stopping with an audible Ahhhh.  Although the writing is fine, and the stories are interesting, nothing yet so awesome as to click somewhere with style or skill or metaphorical grace.

In the meantime, I’m awaiting the printer’s call to alert me that otto #2 is ready to pickup, put together and distribute.  Although I’m a bit disappointed that we didn’t get to include the graphic story in this issue, nor did I come through with my experiment on hypertext within the printed pages, it is still a lit journal that’s full of great story and poetry.  And, what we didn’t manage to get done in time for this issue is hopefully committed for the next.

Two of our blog buddies are included in this issue, and more info on them and the availability of otto #2 will be posted this week.

And so, to bed…
