REALITY?: Happiness Blips

"Young man rhythm’s got a hold on me too, I’ve got the rockin’ pneumonia and the boogie-woogie flu…"  (Johnny Rivers)

Temp high.  Why?  The temperature’s up and I saw the eagle and the phone rang too.  Temporary, transitory, uncontrolled.  Independent and undependable–I know that.  But not money, or fame or power; comes from nature two out of three.

Boethius might approve if I can’t help a smile.

You sick?… or just in a lyric rewriting poetic license kind of mood? ‘Fraid i forgot my flash of light. And brilliance, for that matter. But if you want to sing a few bars, i’ll be more than happy to kazoo along.

It was playing on the radio this morning as I drove home from running errands. It’s just a very upbeat tune and got me going, esp. when I spotted the eagle sitting on his favorite tree, and my thoughts ran on from there. That, or someone spiked my coffee.
