REALITY?: A Swell Day

Since I’m biting my tongue and holding back on the personal entries lately, I won’t post about the big new CVS in town (the one that put our little local deli out of business) not having frozen pizza, only one container of ice cream, and not a single jar of hamburger chip dill pickles available for sale today.  There were exactly twenty-two items on the shelves in the freezer.  They’re having trouble getting deliveries into Burlington, the clerk told me.

I also won’t mention the three-weeks past deadline response from the attorneys on a legal matter that’s going on two years for simple probate.

Nor the butcher job the professional tree-trimmer did on the shaped pine in front of my shop that has been lovingly tended by my husband and myself for a dozen years but grew above our natural fear of heights.

Yeah.  A swell day.
