REALITY?: Springlike Sunday

Nice day today.  Did some work on Adobe Premiere, some laundry, then we took a ride out to Trader Joe’s.

First time there–we’d heard so much about it.  But while there were tempting goodies, the prices weren’t that great–although they were in line, and it was so crowded I couldn’t stand being in there.  Got panicky and we didn’t buy much.  I worry about my tendencies lately to avoid crowds; that seem to be getting worse.

Then we went to Olive Garden to cash in on a nice dinner with a gift certificate; it too was crowded; a half hour wait-time, and it was only four o-clock.  We didn’t wait.

So Jim took the back roads (I believe he does this just to screw with my mind) and we ended up in New Britain at Starofpolska.  Fried piorogi–wonderful, but the fillings were no where near as good as mine.  Odd thing though; when I ordered I noted that they offered 8 piorogi and just out of long established habit I wondered if I should get an order and a half.  But I was finished at only 5.  This started about a year and a half ago–just can’t put down the quantities anymore.

Still, a good day.

    Hi Susan,

This is the first time I’ve visited your site. I came over to thank you for the very thoughtful comment you left on Roberta’s post (Elusive Allusions) for me. It was very kind of you.

(I was just thinking…”wouldn’t it be embarrassing if I had the wrong Susan”) I like your site…I’m going go read a few more of your posts. Thanks again… -Joy (The Joy of Six)
