REALITY?: Huh?

Okay so the biopsies came back negative for Giant Cell Arteritis. That’s good news, and it gets me off the Prednisone faster. But all the blood tests haven’t come back to suggest anything else as yet, so it’s a sudden inflammation of the arteries to the head without any specific cause and I’m not so sure that it negates any possibility of it being just as potentially damaging (blindness, stroke) as GCA if it happens again.

And the beat goes on.

  1. I hope it’s nothing serious, but headaches are still a mystery to me, and I’ve had migraines all my life. Wishing you well.

Ah, my mother, sister, and a niece all had migraines; I just get a very very bad headache a few times a year. This one was just worse than ever and Oxycodone wouldn’t touch it so I went through all the tests because of the serious threat of blindness. I’m sure it’s nothing and at least I know that Prednisone works.
