TECHNOLOGY: Barebones

Quiet day today.  Just working in the frameshop listening to the wind winding down.  Grey and green.  Dismal grey and verdant green outside; I see it through the French doors of my barn.

Waiting for the UPS man, Dave.  He’s neat.  He’s bringing me a barebones computer today, and all I have to fill in is the memory, drives and operating system.  It’s for the kid.  It’s taken me so long to fix the old clunker, I bought a new upgraded one instead, and it was cheap.  I may even buy another for myself because the deal’s so good.

Antsy to get into it.  Need to work with hands instead of mind.
