WRITING: Metaphor

A river takes a certain bend, yet unwavering in its purpose, its need to reach the sea.  It carries the silt of sin and indiscretion with a force unmatched, undaunted by time and wind, though petals ride its surface and gently fade and sink, becoming one with matter.

The evil men do lives after them.  The good is oft interred with their bones."

Did I mention I’ve been to Stratford-upon-Avon and seen Will’s grave in that church? Awesome. I need something new/good to read this weekend. In the mood for a nice novel. I roam Barnes & Noble hopelessly.
