WRITING: Crap

Well, a fourth reader didn’t get it, so it’s time to go back over the elements of story.  One can get lost in language and tone and lost sight of structure and plot.

Questioning as well my tendencies lately to avoid conflict and resolution in anything but a subtle manner.  But then, subtlety is good; it’s more likely that my version of "subtlety" is closer to "vague."

It seems I’ve come a long way from over-explaining and fallen into the trap of unresolved story, more like vignettes or slices of life, as if it goes on without end.
